Making Venison Bacon

If you are like me and have some extra venison burger in your freezer and looking to try something new, perhaps making some venison bacon is something you want to try. I used the Bearded Brothers Venison Bacon kit which makes 25 lbs of bacon and I used half of it to try it for the first time. Aside from being a little messy, ‪@ReedlaxationOutdoors‬ was impressed with the taste and final product. One piece I didn’t mention in the video was to add about 16-24 ozs of cold water when mixing the pork and venison together to help bind the cure and meat. Overall this was not hard and tasted awesome. I’m sure this will become a family favorite going forward. Enjoy!
