Mount Kailash in Tibet is
Mount Kailash in Tibet is a striking peak that feels like something out of a dream. It's not the tallest mountain around, but its presence is something else. Imagine a pyramid of rock and ice, perfectly symmetrical, piercing the sky at 6,638 meters. People from all walks of life, including Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, and Bon followers, hold it sacred. They say a single trek around this mountain can wipe away a lifetime of sins. For them, Kailash changes everything. The air here is crisp, the skies vast, and the landscape otherworldly, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a spiritual realm. This is a trek of self-discovery and Tibet's crown jewel.
These are days 8 and 9 of our Kailash tour. We did this trek in two days even though it usually takes three days for foreign visitors. The first day we hiked for seven hours and managed 20 km. On the second day, we hiked for 11 hours and covered 37 kilometers. Thank you for joining us!
