Skyrim Max Destruction For All Versions

Unfortunately, the under-10-minute version only works for people with Anniversary Edition or Acrcane Accessories from the creation club. I do have 2 other methods for people who do not have it. They are not nearly as fast but they will get you there eventually.

Destruction XP is earned by causing damage and killing enemies with the destruction class. I read that there is a forge you can stand in that will deal damage to you and will give you destruction XP for it. I could not find this forge.

For the people with arcane accessories make your way to Hob's Fall Cave and make your way until you get into a big circular room with a pike gate up. Loot for the loot chest that is called "Spell Tome Chest" The one you need is at the bottom called Unbounded Storms. You can get the rest but they're not necessary for it.

Go to Riften or Markarth Stables and walk a distance away. The spell has a large area of effect and quicksave before you cast it. When you do cast it the second you see your magicka begin to deplete continue to hold the button and open your map. Once your map is open you can let go of the attack button. Fast travel to the other Hold's stable (Riften to Markarth. Markarth to Riften.) You can tell if it's working when you look at your level bar and see that you've maxed out the bar. If not try again.

For people not wanting to cheese destruction but still want quick level the spell tome chest has some very powerful yet fun-to-use spells.

If you do not have arcane accessories another method is to grab the ritual stone just east of Whietrun and run in a crypt with lots of enemies. every time you clear a room wait and day and use the ritual stone on them and drag them all with you through the crypt. You can get all your reanimated corpses to get right behind you if you go through a door that has a loading screen. Wait a day and head back in for more repeat the process until you have a whole crypt of draugr in a room. Place down a fire rune and like it with flame. You can then wait a day, reanimate them, and do it all over again until you have max destruction.

The last and worst option I've seen is to put your game on legendary difficulty and use a destruction spell on your horse or to conjure something and then kill it with flame. It took way too long from level 15 to 16 so I would not do this one.

There are multiple destruction trainers in Skyrim but none can be followers not allowing free levels. Faralda at the College of Winterhold is a master trainer and you could pay your way to level 100.
