A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for some of our eastern counties in Northeast Ohio and will last through 8 p.m.
Heat and humidity are abundant today and that will lead to the potential for showers and storms to develop throughout the rest of the day. The best potential for these stronger storms looks to be east of Cleveland. Other locations could certainly have showers and storms develop, but the best potential for them to become strong to severe is the the east.
Here are the details of our Weather Impact ALERT
When: 2 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Impact: Storms that develop could produce damaging winds, hail, and heavy rain.
Need: Be weather aware for the rest of the day. Have a way to get any warnings that are issued and keep an eye on the radar. Have a back up for any outdoor plans.
