After planning, it's time to prep that soil. This video shows you how we, as full time organic farmers, prepare our soils in South Florida. Watch the video to see the techniques and materials we are to jump start your garden bed.

Please note that this recipe is not a continued maintenance plan. This is a seasonal activity. As you continue to expand and grow your garden, mulch all pathways deeply (minimum 6 inches). At the end of the growing season the mulch turns into compost. You can turn your pathways onto your bed to be used like a soil enhancer and then re mulch the pathways
