🎧 Using Accutrak VPE ultrasonic leak detector in the field to find a very small HVAC refrig. leak

Sorry guys, my phone always turns my video off if i have it paused too long 😡 My Inficon TEK-Mate did find the leak but it also gave me numerous false positives in and around the leak area. Soap bubbles were so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see it. I'm very excited about this new Accutrak VPE ultrasonic leak detector. This thing works amazingly well. I have found a bunch of leaks with it so far and i've only had it for a month. When you gas the system up to normal operating pressures you can hear the leak from a couple of feet away. I even found one with the door still on the indoor unit 😳 That's right, I hadn't even taken the door off and could hear it inside. But I could not hear it with my own ears even after taking the door off. I'm going to try to do some more videos using this instrument so you guys can see it & hear it in action. And then you'll definitely want to go out and buy one of these things.
