1970 Watkins Glen Trans Am

I love this cool original highlights film of the 1970 Watkins Glen Trans-Am. That the manufacturers were spending millions of dollars (in 1970 money) on this series is evident, and of particular interest is the intense rivalry between Mark Donohue and Parnelli Jones. This race is notable for the factory Camaro team, Chaparral Cars, taking the first and only Trans-Am victory for the second-gen model in the original 1966-1972 era.
