Being able to communicate the fundamentals of Youth Baseball Hitting Mechanics to our players is huge!  You can know everything about swing mechanics but if you can't break them down into simple and easy to understand ideas for our youth baseball players, then we will never give them the tools they need to succeed.  We must do our best to explain these youth baseball hitting mechanics by breaking them down and showing them to our players in bite sized pieces.  Here are 7 Youth Baseball Hitting Mechanics that I like to preach to my younger baseball players:

1)  0:46 - Have the proper batting stance.

2)  2:26 - Setting a body angle, spine angle, having good posture, etc.

3)  4:12 - Knock the knees.

4)  5:11 - Use the right stride.

5)  6:44 - Get on plane. (Swing Plane - Bat Path)

6)  8:32 - Keep your body angle.

7)  9:42 - Smooth swing mechanics.
