প্রায় পাঁচ শত বছরের পুরনো
প্রায় পাঁচ শত বছরের পুরনো মুঘল আমলে সৃষ্টি মল্লিক বাড়ি বাজার। এটি বাংলাদেশের ময়মনসিংহ জেলার ভালুকা উপজেলা জনপদের মল্লিক বাড়ি ইউনিয়নে সুতিয়া নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত। সপ্তাহে প্রতি শনিবার সারাদিন এখানে হাট বসে।
বিভিন্ন প্রকার টাটকা শাক-সবজি মাছ-মাংস, হাঁস-মুরগি, গরু-ছাগল, ধান, পাট, লোহার তৈরি দা, বটি, কাঁচি, কোদাল, কুড়াল, বাঁশের তৈরি খাঁচা, কুলা, ডালা ও মাছ ধরার চাঁই সহ বিভিন্ন প্রকার নিত্য প্রয়োজনিয় জিনিস পত্র বেচাকেনা হয় এই হাটে।
কামারদের লোহার হাতুড়ির টুং টাং শব্দে মুখরিত থাকে হাটের দিন সারাদিন। এখনো বটগাছের নিচে পিঁড়িতে বসে গ্রামীণ বাসিন্দাদের চুল দাড়ি কাটেন নরসুন্দরেরা।
শত শত বছরের পুরনো তাল পাতার ছাউনীর ছোট ছোট সেঁকা রুটি ও মজাদার জিলাপির দোকান রয়েছে এখনো। নিমকি মুরালি আর ছোট ছোট চায়ের দোকান গুলো এখনও আগের মতই রয়েছে। চায়ের দোকানে গুলো এই হাটে যুক্ত হয়েছে বৃটিশ আমল থেকে। সারি, লুঙ্গি, গামছার জন্য এখানো বিখ্যাত এই গ্রামীন হাট।
আসেপাশের নদী-নালা খাল-বিলের নানান জাতের তরতাজা মাছ যেমন বিক্রি হয়, বিভিন্ন প্রকার স্থানীয় সবজিও বেচাকেনা হয় প্রচুর।
পাঁচ শত বছরের ইতিহাস আর ঐতিহ্যের সাক্ষী হয়ে আজো গ্রামীণ জনপদের বাসিন্দাদের সমৃদ্ধির চাকা সচল রেখেছে অপরূপ সুন্দর এই গ্রামীণ হাট মল্লিক বাড়ি বাজার।
Mallik Bari Bazar creation of about five hundred years old Mughal period. It is located on the banks of the Sutia River in Mallik Bari Union of Bhaluka Upazila of Mymensingh district, Bangladesh. This market is held all day here every Saturday. Various types of fresh vegetables, fish-meat, cows-goats, rice, jute, iron, bota, scissors, spade, ax, Various types of daily necessities including bamboo cages, kula, dala and fishing nets are sold in this market. echoes throughout the market day. Narsunders still cut the hair and beards of the villagers sitting on straws under banyan trees. Hundreds of years old palm-leaf huts still house small bakeries and delicious Jilapi shops. Nimki Murali and small tea shops are still like before. The tea shops have been added to this market from the British period. This rural hut is famous for saris, lungis, towels. Various types of fresh fish are sold in the nearby rivers, canals, canals and banks, and various types of local vegetables are also sold in abundance.
