In this series I look at train companies that have failed at their franchise agreements or have been criticised by passengers & industry alike. However, today we are looking at an operator that ran out of money - Wrexham & Shropshire; the only Open Access Operator in Britain to have ceased operations. But why did it, and is there any hope of a similar company restarting soon?
