In the United States Department of Agriculture's National Nutrient Database, 1 tablespoon of ordinary mayonnaise is listed as having 103 calories and 11.7 grams of fat, but zero grams of protein or carbohydrates. Mayonnaise is made from oil, egg yolk, and acid, usually vinegar but also lime juice. Because of all the oil, it's quite fatty. Around 94 calories are in one teaspoon of mayonnaise, which may add up quickly.
There are a lot of calories in mayonnaise. As a result, it's important to keep an eye on how much mayonnaise you eat, as mayo-based meals can ruin your diet.
If you eat mayonnaise with a lot of carbs, your blood sugar will rise. It could make you feel weaker, more vulnerable to heart illness, and give you a headache, nausea, and possibly even increase your blood pressure.
The high fat content and high calorie content of mayonnaise make it a poor choice for people with diabetes. On the other hand, it does not include any carbohydrates. So, diabetics can only have one serving of low-fat, low-calorie mayo made with olive oil.#diabetes #diabetic #health #mayonnaise #healthdsl
