Chickenpox is caused by Vericella
Chickenpox is caused by Vericella Zoster Virus.It affects almost everyone once in a life.Appearance of this virus second time is not possible.But this virus remain latent once it affected in our body & reactivate later and causes rashes of skin called Herpes Zoster.
You will got everything once you watch whole video.
Spread of this virus by respiratory droplet like sneezing,coughing & also by direct skin contact.
So,once it affect someone it spread speedily in community.
It mostly affect to children, but if occured in adults its more severe.
Symptoms :
Fever,sore throat,Headache
Rashes on skin.Rash start from red spot which convert into vesicle(watery) which convert into hard crust.Within 24 hours rash convert into crust.
This type of rashes continuos emerge in early days of Chickenpox.
COMPLICATION :
Due to Itching there is chances of bacterial Infection.
Adults,pregnant women,person who have low immunity (who is suffering from HIV,Cancer,taking steroid for long time) have more chances of complication & causes Hepatitis,Meningitis,Pneumonia.
Those who never affect by this virus & have risk factor as above should take care & keep distance from who are affected by this virus.
TREATMENT:
Antiviral treatment only works within 48 hr of appearance of rashes & effectivity is much less so its not used widely.
Other treatment is Antipyretic for fever,Antihistaminic for Itching,Calamine lotion to prevent skin complication.
Treatment of VZIG advised who are at risk for complication.Vaccine also available.
