Namaste, We are Shirish and Pooja
and Welcome to a New Episode of @RedSoilStories Ft. @KonkaniRanmanus
I was working in our Ragi ( Nachani ) farm on a beautiful sunny day and suddenly I was asked by someone, to my surprise he was Prasad aka @KonkaniRanmanus . He had came to our village for some work and was returning home. I asked him to come to our home. He agreed. Meanwhile Pooja was doing some chores in the Courtyard and we came there. She also got shocked by seeing Prasad.
We invited him in and Pooja gave him Ghavane and Tea which is a common breakfast in our region.
I asked Pooja to prepare something for our guest for lunch. First Prasad was not ready to stay for lunch but Pooja said that she is preparing "Malvani Chicken Sukka" and "Solkadhi" for the lunch.
Prasad agreed for the Lunch. While Pooja was preparing the lunch, me and Prasad went to see our village. He liked it.
At the Lunch time Pooja served the lunch i.e. Malvani Chicken Sukka, Solkadhi, Chicken Curry, Tandalachi Bhakri ( Rice Flour Flat bread ), Rice and Salad on Banana leaf.
We enjoyed this traditional lunch together. Prasad praised the cooking skills of Pooja and Pooja said it is nothing compared to his work for nature and our region.
