The Ice Treat Puddle | BilliSpeaks

We have been on a saga recently trying to get Billi to take her fish oil! The ice treat was a mix of her kibble mixed in hot water, a drop of salmon Churu, and the fish oil. Apparently it’s better heated up 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lots of people have asked why I’m trying so hard to get her to accept the fish oil, here’s a link to the study done in cats with CKD with and without fish oil supplementation:

TLDR: Supplementation of omega 3’s (found in fish oil) were found to improve body condition and blood findings in cats with CKD over time. There was also a positive correlation with life expectancy.
