I teamed up with Shereene from the Upside Down Smilie Show (lilsher8) to talk about Anti-Blackness in Indian Communities.

note: I want to clarify that civil rights act happened in 1964, one year ( not ten years like I said in the video) before widespread Indian immigration to the United States began. However, the civil rights movement was in place for over twenty years by the time Indians began immigrating in large waves, so the idea that we were more welcomed in this country as people of color due to civil rights being in place still stands. Just wanted to correct that one error. 😊
