On July 19, 2023, Sheriff T.K. Waters held a town hall for the Jacksonville community introducing the agency's plans for new police service districts along with several other public safety initiatives.
This event gave the public the opportunity to ask questions, meet their District Commanders and assigned officers patrolling in these areas, as well as get a firsthand look of the re-designed JSO vehicle.
