Hello guys,
This video is about a mi redmi a1 phone which touch was not working in any display combo, than I realised that there might be a problem in the phone's motherboard. So I started to trace the fault. At first, I cleaned the motherboard and checked again, but nothing changed, then i removed the camera stripe, sub-board stripe and the fingerprint sensor then the touch was working normally. I wasn't sure which part was faulty, so i connected all the removed parts again, one by one and found that the touch was working even after connecting the camera and sub-board stripe, but when i connected the fingerprint sensor, the touch stopped working again. So the phone was running normally without fingerprint scanner.
so i had two options, first- replace with a new one and second- repair the old one. but, i hadn't the scanner in my stock so, i decided to repair the old one. i cleaned it nicely with thinner and then started checking the GR value of the capacitors on fingerprint stripe and found that one of them was shorted. when i removed it with the help of iron carefully, the reading of the GR value of that track made me smile and then i was excited to check the both- touch and fingerprint sensor whether they would work properly or not. after checking i fund that everything was working normally. i think that was a unique problem, for which i decided to make a video for you guys. please do support anyway you can...!! the quality of the video can be improved but I'm so sorry to say you that i don't have a proper setup or a professional studio. so guys if you like my videos, please help me to grow the channel by any means you can do....like you could directly donate anything to support this channel.
