Hear Katie's inspiring story of overcoming Gallbladder Disease.

Katie fought back against gaslighting doctors who didn't believe a thin young woman could have gallbladder disease.  After experiencing excruciating pain and nausea for several months,  doctors refused to listen to her pleas to test her for gallbladder disease.  This is despite the fact that her father had experienced similar symptoms years earlier before his gallbladder diagnosis.  So she ate the fattiest food she could find and  went to the emergency room where doctors finally tested her.  Since having her gallbladder removed, she has been pain free.  Throughout her ordeal doctor kept telling her she would get better if she simply relaxed-something often said to young women.
