This week on ‘Has It Aged Well?’ Abbas and Urjita are discussing Anurag Kashyap’s scinitllating Devdas remake ‘Dev D’. Joining them in the studio to discuss the movie is stand-up comedian and teetotaller Chirag Panjwani. Topics discussed include: Chirag’s Chandigarh experience and how this was his first ‘break up movie’, drawing parallels between Bhansali’s Devdas and this one, Abhay Deol being an indie darling, Mahie Gill and Kalki’s striking debuts, how accurate are the Delhi brothels in this movie (we did ahem research), the memorable minor characters, the understated humour, was this the best soundtrack of the 2000’s?
