GLASS PRODUCTION PROCESS IN GLASS FACTORY | The basic raw material is sand

We must be very familiar with this one thing. Glass is an important part of today's modern world. Currently glass is widely used in facades, interior partitions, railings for stairs and balconies, while in the world of technology glass is applied to smartphone screens, solar panels and also car sunroofs. Glass is widely used on the facades of high-rise buildings, to make it look more attractive. The revolution in the glass industry began after the invention of the float method for glass production. Float glass is ordinary glass that is now widely produced and used in everyday life.
Glass itself is actually produced from a perfect combination of sand, gypsum, soda ash, limestone, and dolomite. In this video we will see the process of making float glass or floating beans or better known as flat, annealed glass which is produced in a factory. The word “float” was given because of the method of production. Worldwide 90% of glass is produced by the floating method. Float glass has a transparent, flat, smooth surface and has a natural greenish hue.
