Bruce Willis is an American actor, producer, and singer who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He is best known for his roles in the Die Hard film series, as well as the pulp fiction, The Sixth Sense, Armageddon, and Sin City.
Willis was born in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany on March 19, 1955. His father, David Willis, was a US soldier, and his mother, Marlene, was a German native. Willis moved to Carneys Point Township, New Jersey in 1957, where he attended Penns Grove High school. After graduating, he attended Montclair State University to study drama, but he soon left to pursue his career in acting.
