How to generate recovery key for iCloud in iPhone? | iPhone and iOS
In this video we will show you how you can generate the recovery key to reset password of your iPhone.
Please note that ONCE YOU GENERATE RECOVERY KEY, YOU CAN NEVER RESET PASSWORD USING YOUR CONTACT NUMBER.
So if you lose your password and recovery key, chances of recovering your iCloud account is ZERO. Not even apple can recover the account for you.
So store your recovery key in some safe place.
To generate a recovery key for your iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
3. Tap "iCloud" in the list of options.
4. Tap "iCloud Security" or "iCloud Backup" (depending on your device and version of iOS).
5. Tap "Generate a Recovery Key" or "Create a Recovery Key" (depending on your device and version of iOS).
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a recovery key for your iPhone. This key will be a long string of letters and numbers, and it will be used to help you recover your iCloud account if you ever forget your password or lose access to your account.
7. Make sure to write down your recovery key and store it in a safe place, such as a physical notebook or a password manager app. Do not share your recovery key with anyone, and do not store it on your iPhone or any other device that is connected to the internet.
8. Once you have generated a recovery key for your iPhone, you can use it to reset your iCloud password and regain access to your account if you ever need to. To do this, you will need to visit the iCloud website and follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password using your recovery key.
