We embarked on our safari inside Parambikulam Tiger Reserve in our own car guided by a Forest Department guide since there were not enough people for the bus safari to run. The experience was amazing as if I was driving a safari gypsy. The terrain is a little off-road so may not be advisable for a sedan or a hatchback. We sighted many wildlife on the safari and also witnessed some beautiful dams, water bodies, and valley views and also did a bamboo boat ride. The best part was walking the tiger trail and trying to find a tiger in its natural habitat.
