Today I present to you the 2008 Chevrolet Uplander LT.
Now first impressions: seats are comfortable, interior is simply layed out, exterior design was pretty basic, legroom in the back was horrible.
If it were my money to buy a GM minivan no doubt I would take a Oldsmobile Silhouette. Hey I know it has the head gasket 3.4L V6, But the ride of that van was excellent. We had a 2002. It had 154,000 kilometers. It had every single option except for the DVD system. Seats were absolutely amazing the leather held up pretty good even though having over 150k kms. The ride was the best from a minivan I had experienced. We haven't had any mechanical issues with it, just regular oil changes and a fresh tune up. Anyways onto the Chevrolet Uplander.
The Uplander is GM's upbringing into the minivan market from the outgoing Venture and Pontiac montana and others. This new minivan features a new engine choice, Fully redesigned exterior and interior. Still available with short wheel base and long wheelbase choice. The Buick Terraza basically replaced the Oldsmobile Silhouette. You can get Leather Interior, Wood Grain, DVD, Power Sliding Doors, XM Radio and I believe All Wheel Drive. Overall you're going to enjoy the GM vans.
