Joe Ely does the Robert Earl Keen song.  The Road Goes on Forever.  There's a verse missing in the song. Not my fault.  The verse goes like this.



Sonny was a loner older than the rest.
He was going in the Navy but he couldn't pass the test.
So he hung around town and sold a litte pot.
But the law got wind of Sonny and one day he got caught.
But he was back in business when they set he free again.
