NEW DELHI: As the India-China standoff in Eastern Ladakh lingers on, one reason for the aggressive Chinese behaviour is India’s infrastructure development along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the western sector. The same holds good for the eastern sector as well. Better connectivity between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh is progressing at a rapid pace with two crucial tunnels at Sela and Nechiphu, which will ensure year-round access to the frontier areas, almost ready.
