In this lesson, you will learn how to solve trigonometric equations that involve sine, cosine, and tangent of an angle theta. We will take the inverse of the trig function and apply it to both sides in order to isolate the variable theta. When we obtain the angle which is the solution of the equation, we will need to compare the angle with the range of valid angles given in the problem statement. In many cases, we will need to add Pi or 2Pi radians to the base angle in order to find all angles in the given range which are valid solutions to the equation we are trying to solve.
