KTR concedes defeat as Congress stuns BRS in Telangana, says 'Not saddened, but disappointed...'

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao on December 03 said that he the party members were surely disappointed with the electoral results but they were not sad. As per the latest trends by ECI, Congress was leading on 64 seats whereas BRS was leading on 39 seats in Telangana.
KT Rama Rao said, “I think the people wanted a different result. Of course we are disappointed but we are not sad. We are the party which has fought the hard way against all odds to create Telangana. We are also grateful. We have been given two opportunities by the people. We are thankful to the people of Telangana.” When asked what went wrong for the party in the elections, he said, “I don’t think I can tell you that right now because I think I will have to sit with a lot of candidates, a lot of our party leaders. The results are still not being finalized. Now, that I am in the Opposition, I will have enough time to think over all this.”
