The Great Benefit of Making Sea Salt Soap

In this homemade soap video, I will be sharing my step-by-step process of how to make a natural sea salt soap recipe.  Because salt reduces the foaming action of cold process soap we need to use a high coconut oil recipe, so we will be using a higher than normal percentage of superfat to give us a soap that feels lovely on the skin.  There are many types of salt that you can use but most people use either sea salt or Himalayan salt which often gives a more pink colour to the bar.

** Sea Salt Soap Recipe **
350g Coconut oil
100g Olive oil
25g Avocado oil
25g Castor oil
67g Sodium hydroxide
150g Distilled or filtered water
175g Fine sea salt
15g Optional Spearmint essential
Himalayan salt to decorate
