Here is the M & P Shield EZ Slide Stuck Fix.
If you inadvertently press the grip safety while reassembling or disassembling your Smith & Wesson Shield 9 mm EZ handgun, you may end up with a stuck slide.
I tested this on my Shield EZ and found that it is true! If it gets stuck, it appears there is nothing you can do to fix it.
I tried wiggling, jiggling, engaging, and disengaging the thumb safety- nothing worked!
However, as I found out in this video, the fix is simple and anyone can do it!
Moral of the story: DO NOT PRESS THE GRIP SAFETY WHILE DISASSEMBLING OR REASSEMBLING THIS GUN!
