The CASE IH Axial-Flow® 8250 combine is a high-capacity harvesting machine designed for use in large-scale agricultural operations. This model is part of the Axial-Flow® series of combines, which were first introduced by International Harvester (which later merged with CASE to become CASE IH) in the late 1970s.

The Axial-Flow® design was revolutionary for its time, featuring a single rotor that threshes and separates the grain from the crop in a more efficient and gentle manner than traditional combines with multiple threshing cylinders. This design also allows for a larger threshing area, which leads to increased capacity and faster harvesting times.

The 8250 model was introduced in 2012 and is one of the larger models in the Axial-Flow® series, with a horsepower range of 490-550 and a grain tank capacity of up to 410 bushels. It also features advanced technologies such as the AFS Harvest Command™ combine automation system, which uses sensors and artificial intelligence to optimize harvesting settings and maximize crop yield.

The 8250 combine was produced from 2012 to 2019, when it was replaced by the updated Axial-Flow® 8250 Dynamic Rotor combine. This newer model features a redesigned rotor and cleaning system, as well as improved automation and monitoring capabilities.
