Weather radio doing it's thing!

Thank god I plugged this thing in a few months ago....It's pretty old and was sitting unplugged. Fore some reason I plugged it in and it woke me up when a recent barrage of storms, tornadoes and high winds hit. Noting happened to the house, but I'm glad this thing will give me warning just in case. I bought this radio at least 6 years ago from an ABC warehouse sale. I have a few other portable radios, but they are never turned on, only the midland, since it has a wall adapter and doesn't depend on batteries. I would highly suggest people to get a device like this. With today's ever changing weather patterns, it could end up saving your life.
