Nick Augenbaum: So, technology offers us a tremendous advantage when it comes specifically to surgery. In Long Island Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry, we thrive and we are very proud of the fact that we constantly are learning more and more about dental technology and then instilling that within our office. So for example, we have a cone beam CAT scan within the office. Before the cone beam CAT scan, we were just taking 2-dimensional images, but now we can take 3-dimensional images, which allows us to view every angle of your jaw and allows us to perform surgery in a much more accurate and precise manner. Additionally, we've implemented within the office 3D printing, which allows us to go ahead and 3D print what we call surgical guides, which allows our surgeries to be once again a lot more precise and accurate, less surgical time, and less post-operative pain. We also 3D print your teeth. You don't have to wait for a laboratory to fabricate your teeth and send it back to us for us to deliver it for you. We have the ability to go ahead and print it inhouse, which reduces the amount of time you have to wait from when we take the digital impression to delivering your smile to you. We can 3D print in the office single teeth and we can 3D print in the office full-arch restoration, which means either a full upper jaw or for the lower jaw of teeth. We also have soft tissue lasers within the office to manage any soft tissue complications that might occur within a patient as well as digital x-rays. Many patients come to the office who are anxious and are fearful. We see that all the time in the dental world and specifically in our office when doing surgery. So, we offer sedation to our patients with a board-certified anesthesiologist. And we also offer nitrous oxide, which is laughing gas for our patients as well if they do not want conscious sedation or IV sedation.
