00:00 - Corrections
17:50 - You have made me interested in the .284 Winchester. I have several Barnes bullets in the 150 to 175 range weight that I’ve used while developing loads for 7x57. I was wondering what loads work for you. I can reload the rounds closer to 3.0 instead of the 2.8 magazine length. Was just wondering if you have any recommendations/ info on reloading the .284 win. Thanks!
22:59 - What are your thoughts about 45-70 for short distances?
25:00 - Which caliber has better barrel life - the 6.5 PRC or the 270 Winchester?
26:03 - What are your thoughts on bore snakes?
27:40 - What's the difference between 30-30 and The ww2 30-06 Cartridge?
30:16 - Could you recommend your favorite outdoors books, hunting, fishing, camping, general outdoors adventure, and how-to books to help break my cabin fever?

Who is Ron Spomer
For 44 years I’ve had the good fortune to photograph and write about my passion – the outdoor life. Wild creatures and wild places have always stirred me – from the first flushing pheasant that frightened me out of my socks in grandpa’s cornfield to the last whitetail that dismissed me with a wag of its tail. In my attempts to connect with this natural wonder, to become an integral part of our ecosystem and capture a bit of its mystery, I’ve photographed, hiked, hunted, birded, and fished across much of this planet. I've seen the beauty that everyone should see, survived adventures that everyone should experience. I may not have climbed the highest mountains, canoed the wildest rivers, caught the largest fish or shot the biggest bucks, but I’ve tried. Perhaps you have, too. And that’s the essential thing. Being out there, an active participant in our outdoor world.
