2X2 Rib Knitting: Rib Stitch For Beginners

2x2 rib creates a nice stretchy fabric that is double-sided so it looks the same from both sides. It's an easy knit stitch to learn because it uses only knits and purls. I also show you an alternative way to bind off that keeps the look of the ribbing.

Multiple of 4
Row 1: *K2, p2; rep from * to end
Repeat this row

Multiple or 4 + 2
Row 1: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end.
Row 2: P2, * k2, p2; rep from * to end.
Repeat these 2 rows.
