ATTENTION!! From the 18:10 minute to the 19:00 minute an incorrect way of loosening the turbo feed tube is shown. Do not do it as shown there, but as shown in video 4 of 4 of this series of correction of this error. The link is as follows: Problema solucionado tras la reparaci...

When you encounter the error of VAG COM 009571 (Turbo Boost control position sensor circuit) which is the equivalent of the generic error, for all brands (P2563) "Sensor circuit of the TURBO COMPRESSOR position control", sometimes indicates, a continued: "Implausible signal" or something similar., means that something in the electrical or electronic circuit of this actuator or position sensor of the TURBO control presents problems.

This actuator is the G581, and technically in the workshop manual, it is called "Pressure capsule with position transmitter of the boost pressure actuator".

The first thing we should do is check that the cables and connectors of this actuator are correct and do not show any damage or cuts, the second is to verify, with the diagnostic scanner, with the VAG COM preferably, that the opening and closing range of This actuator (which moves by vacuum-depression) properly ranges between 0.760 volts and 3.9 volts from maximum opening to maximum closing. Otherwise, which is the vast majority of cases when the ECU throws this fault, the solution is to replace this actuator. On many occasions the official houses and workshops change the entire TURBO by firing the repair bill to more than 1,500 euros (1,800 US dollars). On other occasions and relying on the honesty of the workshop, what is done, which is appropriate, is to replace the old actuator with a new one. The original new actuator costs about € 200 plus VAT, which added to the replacement labor raises the bill to more than € 500.

The problem is that we have been explaining on numerous occasions in this channel, and that is that there are a large number of elements of mechanical parts that act under the control of an integrated electronic circuitry, and in most cases, What ends up failing is that circuitry, which is normally located near a source of great heat (near the engine or exhaust system) and that over time, and due to poor design of its insulation, ends up deteriorating upon receiving during so many years that great volume of temperature. The solution is to change the complete actuator because, in the vast majority of cases, the mechanical part of the part or actuator, of the electronic part, is not exploded.

In a good number of cases, and when the breakdown is very frequent in specific models, the Chinese have already been in charge of massively manufacturing that piece and put it at our disposal, in the market, at a price substantially lower than that of The official house.

Specifically, this actuator goes from about € 200 in the official house, as I said before, to about € 50, if we buy it from Amazon.

As a procedure to replace it is not simple, I leave a series of 3 videos that I just made, which shows, step by step, how to perform this procedure of replacing the actuator, specifically, in VAG group engines ( AUDI, SEAT, VOLKSWAGEN, SKODA) 2.0 TDI CR (Cammon rail) of the CBA (CBAB) type, etc., and which are mounted by the AUDI A3, A4, A6, the VOLKSWAGEN GOLF, PASSAT, the SEAT LEON, TOLEDO ALTEA, CÓRDOBA, IBIZA and the SKODA OCTAVIA, SUPERB, FABIA.

This video belongs to a set of videos on the maintenance and repair operations of my AUDI A3 cabrio 2.0 TDI CR of 140 hp of the year 2009.

Next, I leave the link to the playlist of this series of maintenance and repair videos:
