Running the Milford Track - New Zealand's most famous trail

The Milford Track was once declared to be “the finest walk in the world,” and is New Zealand’s most famous hike. Hidden away in the Southwestern corner of New Zealand’s South Island, this 33 mile trail will lead you through the most stunning granite valleys in the world. You’ll cross suspension bridges and board walks — and you’ll traverse rainforests, wetlands, and climb an alpine pass.

At the end of 2023, on a trip to to New Zealand, I set out to run the Milford Track in a day.
