DC Comics can't catch a break. They're losing more and more ground to Marvel and Image may overtake them in market share. Things got even more horrifying with the state of Batman and Absolute Power comic sales. The two pillars that should be keeping DC afloat over summer 2024 are not very popular. Once a top 3 mainstay, Batman is barely still a top 10 comic. Absolute Power debuted outside the top 15. A DC Comics event featuring every hero in their universe written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Dan Mora sold less than Kelly Thompson.
