North Korea's Hidden Danger: The Massive Volcano Ready to Explode!

A supervolcano located at the North Korean and Chinese owned Paektu mountain, is a stratovolcano that has caused two of the largest eruptions within the past 5000 years, only being surpassed by the super volcanic eruption of Lake Taupo in New Zealand. This Super Volcano lies directly on the border of North Korea and China. Recently, in the past decade it has displayed signs that it may be close to an eruption. This volcano even has the North Korean leader worried about an impending eruption. It's amazing what fear can do, considering he has actually asked for the help of western scientists, where he wishes to have an indepth study conducted on the Volcano, & it's chamber, desperately hoping that its recently increasing activity isn't the sign of an eruption, and praying that the magma chamber isn't close to reaching a critical level of pressure that could trigger an eruption which would devastate North Korea, China, a large part of Asia, and cause far reaching effects around the globe. This supervolcano is a force to be trifled with. Strangely enough, Kim Jong il very foolishly detonated nuclear weapons in the mountain complex Paektu Mountain is apart of when he was testing his nuclear capabilities several years ago. It is unclear whether or not he knew that the shock waves generated from a nuclear bomb, especially one generated beneath the earth, would actually transfer its energy directly to the magma chamber, which he was incredibly lucky wasn't full at the time of the testing, or else this could've been the catalyst that sent it over the edge and into a violent eruption.
Perhaps this is why he is so worried that it is due to erupt.
