Here are the 2022 estimates of GDP Per Capitas of these three countries: Pakistan: $1,596. India: $2,388. Bangladesh: $2,688.

Bangladesh is ahead of Pakistan but behind India in terms of GDP at purchasing power parity (PPP) per capita. According to the IMF, Bangladesh's GDP per capita in PPP is USD 8,670 in 2023 while India's USD 9,180 and Pakistan's USD 6770.

India, boasting a GDP of approximately $3.7 trillion, dwarfs Pakistan in economic magnitude by a factor of 11. The country's trajectory suggests a momentous leap to become the world's third-largest economy by Fiscal Year 2028, poised to surpass both Japan and Germany.

Pakistan and Bangladesh are two separate and independent countries physically divided by India. Historically, this was not always the case: from 1947 to 1971 they were administered under the same government. The two countries share a number of attributes.

With an average annual GDP growth of six percent since the 2000s, Bangladesh currently holds the 35th position among global economies, and it is projected to become the 28th largest economy by 2030. However, this ambitious journey toward economic advancement is not without its challenges.

A GDP of $411 billion, compared to Pakistan's GDP of $347 billion, makes Bangladesh the 33rd largest economy in the world.
