Well what exactly is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and why is it that it cannot be forgiven? Also as a Christian is this something you have to worry about at all? Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is a sin that can strike fear into the hearts. One thing we must remember is that when Jesus walked the earth he was full of the Holy Spirit. Though they can appear to be similar there is a difference between taking the Lord’s name in vain and blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
