Welcome to my Pakistan series! 🇵🇰
Pakistan… a country full of natural beauty. From some of the world’s tallest mountains to jaw dropping glaciers, it more than satisfies an adventurers dream. That’s not all though.
Pakistan is home to Lake Attabad. Lake Attabad is more than just your average lake. It was formed in January 2010 as a result of a devastating landslide which buried the village of Attabad, killing 20 people and destroying 26 homes.
Today the lake is one of the main attractions in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan, and it’s not difficult to see why. The lake is a shimmering turquoise, so blue it doesn’t look real. I was once again lost for words.
On today’s video we leave Karimabad, go on a boat ride on Lake Attabad, hike to the most incredible viewpoint with a breathtaking view of the lake and arrive at our homestay for the night.
