Northern Colorado Metal Detects Historic Cairo, Illinois

It was nice to finally venture outside the state of Colorado again. We spend the day detecting some historic old and abandoned homes with our new friend, Bryan of ‪@familytreasuresmetaldetect1363‬

Cairo, Illinois has some fascinating and storied history dating back to the Civil War.

One of the locals told us that Cairo has been hunted by detectorists for over 50 years, so we were grateful to find the artifacts that we found.
