Pastor and principal duct tape to tree as school fundraiser

Father Peter Literal, pastor, and Mrs. Christine Blake, principal, made good on their promise at St. John the Evangelist School in Hydes, Baltimore County, May 17, that students could duct tape them to a tree during dismissal if some $40,000 was raised during their Race for Education fundraiser. They exceeded their goal by raising $43,000, which will go towards school improvements including classroom technology.
