Akbar and Birbal Story :-
One day, a farmer approached Emperor Akbar’s court with a grievance. "Your Majesty," he said, "I sold my well to my neighbor, but he still draws water from it."
Emperor Akbar, puzzled, called upon his clever advisor, Birbal. "Birbal, what do you make of this?" he asked.
Birbal, ever the quick thinker, replied, "Your Majesty, may I handle this?" Akbar nodded, granting permission.
Birbal turned to the neighbor and asked, "Did you buy the well?"
"Yes," replied the neighbor.
"And did you buy the water inside it?" Birbal inquired.
The neighbor shook his head, "No, just the well."
Birbal smiled and said, "Then you have no right to draw the water from the well. Either pay the farmer for the water or stop using it."
The neighbor, realizing his mistake, nodded in agreement.
And so, with Birbal’s wisdom, justice was served, and peace restored.
The moral of the story is: Fairness and clarity in agreements lead to peace and understanding.
