Destiny 2: Bungie didn’t care about Halo lore why would they care about Destiny lore?

I want to cut off the objection of “BUT HALO THE FALL OF REACH WAS A BOOK!!!” before i get 100's of comments to that effect. Halo the Fall of Reach was released: October 30, 2001 before, Halo 1: November 15, 2001. This Book has been accepted canon sense before the first game was even released. It was also accepted canon as far as all the other games, and other books, books written by people like Joseph Staten ex bungie writer. Halo: Reach decided to… bend canon, if not outright toss it into “the fire place.” Because that canon got in the way of what they wanted for the game. I’m seeing a similar pattern here. Why do they not care about the Exo Stranger, well because they don’t feel like telling that story. What about the Queen? Their past that. How about the Darkness? Well they didn’t know what it was, BUT now they do, and that might conflict with what was in the Lore… Best to forget all of that OLD lore, and whatever is current it right, regardless of how invested people are in the old lore. That's been Bungie take on lore and contradictions since Halo, why would it change now? Hell we see this in Destiny's own lore, look at Yor.
