Building on the highly successful 1-series horizontal machining center platform, the a51nx horizontal machining center offers a host of new technologies for next generation part productivity, accuracy, and machine reliability. Its ATC shutter door is designed with a high-speed servo-driven system to enhance responsiveness. The servo axis also reduces exposure of the ATC to the horizontal machining center work envelope for improved reliability and cleaner ATC environments. The a51nx 1G linear axis acceleration and direct drive B-axis significantly reduce non-cut time, enabling manufacturers to produce lower-cost parts faster.
