Left Invariant Vectors in Heisenberg group—proof

By computing the derivative of left multiplication operator, we prove that the "horizontal" vector fields X and Y with which we built the sub-Riemannian metric of the Heisenberg group are indeed left-invariant translations of the familiar vectors i and j at the origin.
