Quick Tip: Washing Car Windows - This video is part of a a series of Facebook Live videos I did in which I share quick things I do to make my life a little simpler and a little greener.

MiniLive #4: Washing Car Windows - I filmed this video at a time when I'd been noticing that when taking my daughter to school and driving into the rising sun, my windshield desperately needed to be washed on the inside! Join me to see how Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds and vinegar (separate, not together) are the key!

Sal Suds Lite for windows: 1/2 Tbsp. Sal Suds in 1 quart of water. Spray and wipe with a damp cloth.
GIY Glass Cleaner: Half vinegar and half water. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. My tip to protect my dashboard, is to spray the cloth, then the windshield.

Go straight the glass cleaner if your car window is just a little dirty. For smudged or dirty glass, start with the Sal Suds Lite, then finish with the glass cleaner.

This technique isn't limited to car windows. Use it on indoor & outdoor windows, mirrors, and glass tabletops at home too!
