Watch garden spider molt

Caught this rare moment when the garden spider molts and is totally helpless.  A male spider stands guard (or is waiting to mate).  Notice how soft the new legs are.  This is the same spider that later was captured in action in "Garden spider vs giant wasp Part 1" and "Garden spider vs giant wasp Part 2".
